That others may be loved more than I,

Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.

As we gear up for Lent to start, we will focus more on simplicity in all areas of our lives.  I am planning simpler meals for all of Lent (think rice and beans, but with some flavor).  I want the kids to go through their toys and books with the intention of downsizing.  I also need to go through their clothes.  I notice the kids tend to wear the same three outfits (except the girls who wear that in one day) time after time.  They probably could get rid of a third of their clothes only because they never wear them.  I also want to encourage simpler evenings; less tv, less electronics, less hurry hurry.
