Milesville Ladies Tea

On May 6th the ladies club I am part of hosted a Ladies Tea Party.  We had a great time dressing up and eating tea sandwiches and pretty desserts. Two of the club members put on a skit for us about counting eggs and messing up the count.  It was very funny.  I had never seen anything like it before now. We were also treated to a quilt show by a lady who had grown up here in the area.

House Blessing

We had our priest come out and bless our house on May 1, St. Joseph the Worker's feast day. 

 Holy water in the school room/living room thanks to Kiara.

 Brigid sprinkled holy water in the kitchen.

Gianna handled the dining room.

 Brech Earl took care of the bathroom.

Stephen covered the whole basement. 

Blase sprinkled holy water outside to cover the lands, garden, and animals.  It was very windy that day so we decided the neighbors also had their lands and animals blessed as well. 

Brech had his First Holy Communion testing after the house blessing.  He passed.  The big day is Father's Day.  Brech can't wait.  He is so excited!
