Some More Friends in Fargo

Here are some more of the wonderful friends we left behind in Fargo.
Brech and Gianna with Blake, who is the neighbor's grandson.
St. Monica's Group - Bonnie, Jennifer, Kristin, and myself.
Some of the ladies of the CCM group.
The Robinson family with some of my kids.

We miss all of them!  We have lots of friends in Fargo!  It will be a great vacation to go back.

My Brother is Twelve

We have only spent one, maybe two birthdays with my youngest brother, Loman.  We planned our move just right so that we could spend his birthday with him this year.
We played at the Mark Park a bit before the birthday party.

Mom gave him a ring that belonged to our grandpa, Howard Ingalls.
I think it was his favorite present of the day.

Keep those eyes closed!!
SURPRISE!

This lucky boy had his birthday advertised.
He also got to go out to eat at Bullwacker's.
Mark and Becky, owners of Bullwacker's, gave Loman a Bullwacker's shirt.  I have it on good authority that they would adopt him if they could.  They are good people, so I'm okay with it.  Wait, I think that means the rest of us come with him - adopt one brother and get a whole bunch more for free.

National Guard Training

The first week I lived here it was National Guard training week.  I pretty much drool when helicopters fly over.  Or convoys drive by.  Or big military anythings do anything.

best. welcome. ever.

Karen's "House"

We moved the four middle kids to my parents' house Memorial Day weekend.  Blase came back to North Dakota to help load and watch the twins.  While we were packing up the rest of the house the middle kids had a wonderful time playing with the cousins and spending time with Grandma and Grandpa.

One day Mom asked my niece and nephew what they were doing.  They said they were playing in Karen's house.  So, since that day we have called the room (formerly known as the playroom or school room) the girls and I live in "Karen's House".  When Mom or Dad comes in the girls will say something like, "Oh, you came to my house."  Silly, but sweet all at the same time.
I even have a sign on my door.

My entry way/exercise/dressing area

The rest of the pictures were taken from basically the same spot.
I just turned in a circle around the room.
the bedrooms
 the dining room
 the living room
 the library and kitchen
(the food isn't anything to brag about)
This is the boys' room.  They share the biggest actual bedroom in the house.  It is down the hall from me in the basement.

This room was mine when I was 10-12 years old.  Mom and Dad moved my four brothers into this room when I moved out.  I moved into one of the smallest bedrooms in the house from this one.  It was a shock for me.  I can't imagine how much work it must have been moving all my stuff.

Now you've had a tour of our "house" for the summer.  It has actually been a very workable solution.  We still don't know when we will be able to move to the ranch.  In the meantime, you will find us here at Mom and Dad's house, causing trouble and making noise.
