St. Nicholas' Day also was "Sell the calves" day.
They caught a ride in a big trailer and a couple of little trailers.
Blase and Stephen got to go to the actual sale, but the rest of us stayed home.
We listened to the sale while we were doing school...waiting, waiting....
Then finally it was our turn.
We prayed a Hail Mary - heavenly advantage us - and watched them sell quite well.
Kiara was chewing the calves out because they weren't leaving the arena.
"Naughty calves!!"
Gianna and I kept watching for the Ingalls side of the family's calves to sell.
They also did quite well - better than ours.
It was a good day for all of us.
