I am clumsy when I am in a hurry. I was in a hurry. I had a lot of food to prep and a little time to get it finished. That is a dangerous combo. My poor finger paid the price.
This was the damage within three minutes.
Stephen was my main medic. I figured he should learn how to take care of a deep cut if he was going to be making and using knives. He did great.
His idea of the duct tape on my finger actually did slow down bleeding enough for us to see how big the cut was.
He may have gone a little overboard with the bandage.
Not bad...
It took quite a few weeks for it to heal.
Even now I still have a scar.
