You may remember when a
tree branch tried to take out the swing set back in April. Well - on June 1st we lost the other half of that tree top. The night before I heard some loud noise in the back yard, but didn't think anything of it. The next morning we were in for an interesting surprise. Darren had intended to cut the trees down before we returned from South Dakota, but ran out of time.
This branch fell to the east towards the garden.

And finally - a comparison picture. That is Blase standing next to the tree. Does that give you an idea of how big the trees are around our yard? No wonder Stephen takes cover under the table when the wind blows. Imagine one of these hitting the house!
