Coppertown Mining Museum, Calumet, MI

One last place the kids and Darren visited on the 23rd was the Coppertown Mining Museum in Calumet, MI.  I can't tell you much about this trip though I did get the highlights and best parts recap the next day.

It was mentioned that their tour guide gave them many interesting facts as they walked around.

I was informed I needed one of these washing machines.

hummmm

Blase knows that I LOVE unique architecture and would love to have seen these in person.

FAVORITES:
Darren - blacksmith display, pattern makers
Blase - the copper bottle in the suitcase
Stephen - the guide told us a lot of neat facts
Cormac - the drills
Rex - the electric chair (ok, umm, ok)
Brech - mine hand car
Gianna - Thor's hammer (giant hammer)

Paint 'N Sip Toddler Party

While the siblings were going to a church, visiting a museum, and riding on a train the twinnies spent the afternoon of their 4th birthday napping AND having a paint 'n sip (on milk) party.

Lake Linden Train Ride, Lake Linden, MI

One of the quick things they did that same afternoon (September 23) was take a ride on a little train in Lake Linden, MI.

Umm, not sure that's the kid that should be there.

None of my kids are liars so I guess none of them should be there.  Now Darren and his fishing stories - nope, he shouldn't be there either.
The kids enjoyed blowing the whistle.  Lucky kids.  What memories they are making.
