Paul's Birthday Party

Sunday was a great day!  Sunday we got to celebrate Paul's birthday with him.  He was suppose to fly in Saturday morning, but got delayed thanks to the weather.  He spend the night in Colorado and flew in Sunday morning.  That afternoon we had a wonderful party for him.  He ended up leaving the next morning, which was not fair according to Gianna.  She REALLY loves her Uncle Paul and wishes he was here ALL the time.

Paul ordered pizza for all of us!!  That's a lot of mouths to feed!

Paul made the foolish mistake of mentioning he wanted the poop book for a coffee table book.
Foolish man!  Of course we will buy it for you...and another one as well!!

We played an EPIC game of Bean Boozled.
This one was especially bad - if you didn't notice Becky plugging her nose.

 Poor Taylor!
 Kaylene....hahaha...it was extremely entertaining.
Paul's first one was NOT good.  You can only tell if you scroll VERY fast over the next few pictures.

Okay, now go back and try that again - this time watch Kaylene in the background.

See, wasn't that the best?  He kept a straight face even though it was nasty.
Gianna got toothpaste for her first one.  Not sooo bad!?

 Mine was gross. Rotting fish...yuck!

Sarah has a stomach of steel.
She got some nasty ones and just ate them like they were M&Ms.

HAHA, Mauri!!

 Not good!

Poor Gianna...she had to spit it out.

We had gotten quite a few of the nasty jellybeans in this set.

 Barf flavor.  Nuff said.
 Breathe, Karen...work through that crap!

 This was the worst.
I got spoiled milk.
I don't even like good milk.
It was horrible!  I still felt it at bedtime.

At this point I just swallowed it whole.

See sweet Taylor laughing at me in the background?
What a Goddaughter!!!

 I almost barfed.
HORRIBLE, horrible, HORRIBLE

Still thinking this was a bad idea.

We learned our lesson.  Napkins and chasers are a must in this game!
The little kids helped color the letters to decorate for Paul's birthday.
We all sang happy birthday to him.

Thanks, Paul, for coming to South Dakota for your birthday.  Thanks for the gift bags. Thanks for the pizza and cupcakes.  Thanks for the memories you gave all of us that.  We love you!!
