They Keep Getting Better!

Blase mowed a section of the yard.
The kids gathered around a tablecloth.
 PICNIC outside!  YAH!!
 Then a water fight?!

Finally the slip-n-slide to make the day even better!!

Slide off the path slide, check!
 One leg chop slide, check!
All I need is a guitar slide, check!
Brech didn't want to go through by himself so Blase carried him.

He was laughing and spitting water at the same time.
 Karate kick slide, check!
 Butt slide, check!

Running Gianna through the water, check!
Try to take out the photographer, check!
Laugh so hard you almost drop your brother on his head slide, check!
 Nose plant slide, check!
Face scrunched in fear slide, check!
 Mouth wide open slide, check!
Flying over the end of the slide slide, check!
 Popeye face slide, check!
Sliding by using your arms to move slide, check!
 Playing it safe slide, check!
I can save you by running through the water slide, check!
Let's just keep going...and going...and going.
Finally - the Superman, Skinny Guy, and James Bond slides.....

Another Great Day

Another great day full of
castles, legos,
trains, (Loman build the track, Mom and Dad.)
and the biggest mess our basement has seen in a long time.
 Brech's invention for the day.
Blase's bridge that he let Loman help build.
I think they are super excited about accomplishing such a feat.
Lasagna and root beer floats for supper.
Dessert was a new recipe of frozen yogurt/fruit between graham crackers.  It got mixed reviews.

A Special Goodbye

When Grandpa left on Monday he was sent off in style.
The kids did a 21 gun salute that went a lot like Despicable Me 2's 22 fart gun salute.
They were excited that Grandpa was saluting them.
We were all super excited that Loman was able to stay with us for a bit.
It was a last minute decision that was approved by all here at our house.
Bye, Grandpa!!!

Planes, Popcorn, Ice Cream

I had a wonderful evening with the amazing guys in my life.  (Plus one brother who I hardly ever see.)
Cormac was not happy he had to sit by Mom.
This is his "smile" picture.
Then the movie started and it was all better.
I signed up for the rewards program so the boys all got free popcorn.
We went to the second Planes movie.  I almost cried.
A huge thank you to all the fire fighters who risk their own safety for others.
 Oh yah...we can't wait!!!
We finished the evening by having ice cream.
 YUMMY!
Loman is having a great time, Mom and Dad.
By the way - he says he is homesick because there can't be anything left to do here now.
