5th Semi-Annual Family Dart Tournament

All of us were going to work hard for the fundraiser that it was decided beforehand that we would have a family dart tournament on Sunday.  When you host a large gathering like that it is hard to have just family time.  We decided this would be a great way to have family time and get in our dart tournament we have been trying to have every year.
The afternoon started with a fairly intense arm wrestling duel between Blase and his Aunt Juliana.

We had eight teams this year.  Peter was going to play, but decided to sleep instead as he was going to be working the night shift.  Andrew was also going to be playing but made other plans.  The day was saved by Dirk and Twyla who last minute agreed to play darts with us.  Thanks guys!!
Finally a great picture with Uncle Paul and the twinnies (and Aunt Juliana).
We had an "unofficial, do if you want to" rule about taking a shot with every bulls eye.  I had seven bulls eyes, but only took five shots throughout the tournament.
Dad has just won this particular game.
Levi wasn't impressed with the tournament at all.
 Loman, watch out...he's coming!

Nothing like a little big brother teasing to get a boy to laugh.

 Have you had enough?  Nope.

 Pirates

Man overboard!!
 Arrrr.....
 Last Place Winners team.

You can't see it, but I was [ ] this close to getting another bulls eye.

Kiara was not happy she was in the stroller.
This was how close the games were.
 OH yah!!  Go Paul!!

They had just won a game.
The champions - The Champions, Maria and Jess.
First off I will explain Jess's funny expression.  My camera batteries were dying so I was trying to get one more picture without having to zoom so I literally rushed them to get a closer picture.  Jess was wondering what I was doing and probably questioning my sanity.  I wonder if it had anything to do with the five shots?
Ok, secondly - their name "The Champions" was actually picked by Luke I think.  Both Maria and Jess didn't have a preference for a team name.  In fact, both figured they were going to place fairly low in the standings.  So Luke said "Call them the Champions," so I did.  Well, of course they managed to win first place and actually be the champions.  They played well and deserved it!
Second place went to Kaylene and Paul.
They played very well and did give everyone a run for their money.
