Bear Country USA

On Tuesday, May 9th, we were invited to participate in a field trip with the homeschoolers in the Black Hills area.  They were given a special discount on entrance fees into Bear Country.  We were so excited they invited us because Bear Country is a favorite of ours.  We also took along Aunt Courtney so she could see Bear Country too.  After seeing all the animals we had a picnic lunch there.  It was a bit windy and slightly chilly, but not unBEARable.  ha ha

^^^^^^  BABY!!!  I just love spring!

While it was cold for us - it was hot for them.

Guard bear

Always nice to have random helicopter sightings.

 Our first guide - Bob?
Our second guide - Steve? Phil? Bill?
The bear walking by the gate almost walked into us.  He was busy pacing and not paying attention.

 Another baby ^^^^^^^

We actually never saw the skunks - but we smelled them.

Lazy guy never came out for a good picture.

 Could be brothers!

Stephen's relative - or maybe his hairstylist?

Cormac was helping the bears hold up the bench.

 Cutest face in the park!!

We got to see Mauri and her girls and Loman.  We had lunch with them.
What a treat to see family when we come to town.
