Columbus Day School

Darren's sister, Sally, and her daughter Emma came to visit us in September.  They were here from Saturday until Tuesday morning. Since Monday was Columbus Day I decided that the little kids could have a good school day while the others worked alone for a change.  Since it was also Native American Day in South Dakota we learned about different Native Americans as well.
Brech was learning to make a pattern with his noodle beads.
Hummm, which one should I put on next?

We also played a game. You had to guess which hand the "rock" was in.
 Emma was the winner!
The kids watched a Columbus movie while they played with the Columbus puppets.

We also made tepees and canoes.  We had a great day.  I am not sure how we accomplished it all as we threw swimming lessons in there as well.  Crazy, crazy day!
