Marquette Mission Park and Museum of Ojibawa Culture

On October 2nd we stopped by a museum we had randomly driven by the day before.  This was not part of our planned trip.  It worked out amazingly well as we were studying about Fr. Marquette and Ojibwa Native Americans in our history that week.

I was especially happy to have the kids experience this longhouse.  I was reading a book about longhouses to the middles and littles for history.  It really helped all of us understand the story better.
