On July 4th, Darren found a little duckling in our backyard. He asked if I wanted a new pet. SURE!! Well, in true "Karen has a pet and kills it," fashion, the poor duckling lasted exactly 1 1/2 hours after it came into my care. I guess that confirms anyone's questioning if they should have me watch their pets at any point. I didn't even have time to name the poor animal.
