Fort Wilkins Historic State Park

We have put out Michigan State Park pass to good use this trip. One of the stops on our Keweenaw Peninsula tour on Friday was to the Fort Wilkins Historical State Park.
Fort Wilkins was a military outpost that was first garrisoned in 1844. It is situated on a narrow strip of land between Lake Superior and Make Fanmy Hooe.
