Our next destination was Baraga State Park and L'Anse, MI. This is where Kiara's Godfather, Fr. Litzner, is in residence. Our first night here we just made camp and called it a night. The next day, Thursday, we did some school in the morning and then attended Mass at Noon. This particular week would be one of our best Mass attending weeks ever. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday of course. Fr. Litzner gave us a quick tour of his church in Baraga. That is where I saw this sign in the basement:
Ok, Lord. You put a period in place. No more questioning.
This is the Keweenaw Bay which is where Baraga and L'Anse are located.
By the oranger colored trees is where Baraga State Park is located.
We went on an easy hike with Father to see Canyon Falls after having lunch in town.
Those falls are impressive.....really.....
Getting better...kind of.
OHhh, now we are getting some actual "falls".
This called this the "log of dome".
Brech conquered it NO problem!
Now that is a falls!
Proof I am along for the trip!
