Hello Minnesota and Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum

We crossed the border into Minnesota on September 13th.
Our first stop was to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum at Walnut Grove, MN.

This room has memorabilia from the TV show. This mantle was the one used in the TV show. In fact, we watched an episode on the TV that showed the mantle in the scene.

The girls played dress up in the attic room. There were many toys and games for them to pretend they were pioneers with.

Kiara was making us apple muffins.

Brigid was picking fruit.

All of them decided to go fishing after they crossed the "bridge" on the floor.

Rex Howard!!

School for the day in a one-room school house.
Brech was the preacher in the children's church. (It has low ceilings for kids.)
His preaching didn't work on his sisters. To jail with them!!

The following pictures are from a room that was set up like a town for the kids to pretend they were living in the past. This was more to the boys' liking.

Don't rob the bank!!
